Venezuela analizaría dar asilo político a Snowden, dice Maduro
(CNNMÉXICO) – El gobierno de Venezuela analizaría dar asilo político al excontratista de la Agencia de Seguridad Nacional (NSA) estadounidense Edward Snowden en caso de recibir una solicitud formal, informó el presidente Nicolás Maduro este martes.
De visita en Haití, Maduro dijo que Snowden merece protección humanitaria, por lo que evaluaría darle asilo político, aseguró, de acuerdo con un reporte de la Agencia Venezolana de Noticias (AVN).
El excontratista de la NSA filtró documentos que dieron a conocer que el gobierno estadounidense utiliza programas de espionaje telefónico y en internet con los que aseguran han impedido ataques terroristas en el país.
Snowden se encuentra en Rusia, informó este martes el presidente Vladimir Putin después de pasar varias semanas escondido en Hong Kong.
