Why do plants and animals

go extinct? Is there a

planned obsolescence to their

span? Even before our pollution,

species disappeared forever.

Then new species appear, from

where? Evolved from another,

created by some unseen force?

If humanity self-destructs

or simply reaches its ending

time and is no more, then what?

What happens to the seven billion

souls plus the ones who’ve gone before?

Here on Earth, are we replaced

by another life form?

Seems like there are many more

questions than answers.

I wonder

why we wonder?
