We’re getting to the heart of our Summer here in Portland, Oregon. We’ve made it through our yearly hot spell in the 90s and have settled down into pleasant weather. We’re already praying for some rain to help out with the wildfires that cover out hillsides. NOAA gives us a 50-60% chance tonight through tomorrow of getting some rain, rare for the month of July here.
Meanwhile our abundant plants are holding their own with mankind providing the water they need to look so lush and vibrant. The flowers pictured below is showing off in dramatic fashion. I’m glad the patrons at the Oregon Zoo aren’t plucking them so that we can all enjoy their beauty.
